AbortionAbortion has been and always will be a major, controversial topic in the United States. The controversy is whether to allow a woman to have an abortion or outlaw abortions. The Unites States Supreme Court was supposedly departure to make a final decision on the abortion controversy. Instead, the Supreme Court put the burden of deciding on the government of each state. This seems foul because a woman should have that choice. A woman should have the choice to have her baby aborted in cases involving rape, because of the expensive cost of raising a baby, and in a situation where the woman is just a teenager.One reason why women should be given the choice to abort a baby involves cases of rape. Statistics say that rape happens to women many times each day in the United States. When a woman is raped and possibly becomes pregnant, she is not at fault. She may steady become traumatized. It should not be her responsibility to take care of the baby for the rest of her life and po ssibly on her own. To have an abortion would be the tho choice.Another reason why women should have the choice of having an abortion would be the cost of raising a baby. A woman needs to take into esteem the high cast of raising a child. It is necessary to feed the baby fountainhead so that he or she will grow healthy and strong. A baby also needs to be well clothed. Furthermore, there is the fact that a child may need medical attention, which can be exceedingly expensive. To have an abortion would be the only choice.The final reason why women should have the choice to abort a child is when she is just a teenager. This could harry the rest of her and her boyfriends life. Teenage women may not be emotionally ready for raising a baby. Getting a good nurture may be forgotten. If she has an abortion, she can concentrate of her education. Also, the girl and boy will learn a lesson never to fool around. This would encourage them to do exceptionally well in school. Again, to have an a bortion would be the only choice for a teenager.If abortion was outlawed, a raped woman would more that likely feel confused and insecure.
